How to choose bead size for a DIY crystal bracelet
Bead size changes the rhythm of a bracelet. Smaller beads usually create a finer line. Larger beads create a bolder look with fewer beads around the wrist.

Start with the scale you want
Begin with the look you want on the wrist.
If you want a fine, detailed bracelet, start with smaller beads. If you want a stronger visual line, start with larger beads. This is a design choice, not a quality ranking.
The real options are the sizes shown for each bead in the builder. If a size is not available for that bead, do not plan the design around it.

Choose a base bead first
Pick the bead that sets the main colour and rhythm. A base bead can be quiet, like a pale pink bead, or sharper, like a black bead.
Once the base is chosen, decide whether the bracelet should feel even, mixed or centred around a focal point.
A simple starting pattern is one main bead size around the bracelet. Another option is to keep most beads the same size and add a few larger beads or accessories for emphasis.
Use accessories for structure

Check length as you design
As you add pieces, watch the displayed bead length and wrist length. The preview updates when items are added, removed or reordered.
If the design reaches the builder's length limit, the builder blocks additions beyond 28 cm of bead length.
